TRUE Initiative is a traveling wellness & arts education program directed towards girls and women in the Charleston area. We currently offer in school and after school yoga and self-discovery writing workshops to girls in grades 6-8 and 9-12. In addition, we offer yoga and introspective writing workshops to women’s groups within the community. In the future, we will be adding other workshops to our curriculum.
Our mission is to expose adolescent and post-adolescent girls to practices that promote wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. We believe that wellness and creativity directly impact each other, and that the cultivation of both contributes to the quality of life for girls of every age. Therefore, all of our courses encourage creative expression, self-actualization, and personal growth.
